Sporting Clays is a shooting sport often compared to golf. You walk a course shooting clay pigeons with different presentations at each station. It is an excellent way to spend an afternoon. I have finally moved up in NSCA class due to my performance at the 2003 U. S. Open held at Hopkins Game Farm. It is my goal to win a Kachina Doll at the Kachina Open held each winter at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

I have become a much better shooter due to the instruction by John Woolley. I highly recommend him as an instructor. He has an excellent video that I often use as a refresher between lessons.

Here, I am breaking a clay pigeon over the High Plains of Raton, New Mexico
at the NRA's Whittington Center Sporting Clays Course.
