Jeff Terry's Astrophotos/Whale Galaxy NGC4631.jpg

This is an image of the Whale Galaxy NGC 4631. This image was a sum of sixteen 5 minute exposures in the luminance frame with a 14 inch Mak-Cass telescope located in New Mexico. The color came from eight 5 minute exposures using VBR filters.

The camera was an SBIG St-6303 nonantiblooming camera. The image was processed in iCCD with final tweaking in Photoshop. The image scale is approximately 1.4 arcseconds per pixel.
