This RGB with Ha luminance image of VDB142 was a large collaborative effort.

The color data was collected on Dennis Persyk's Takahashi E-160 f/3.3 scope with my SXV-H9C camera.

The H alpha image used for the luminance channel was collected by Brian Brown using his Takahashi E-250 with an SBIG ST-2001XM camera.

The Ha data was a sum of twenty-one ten minute images for a total of 3.5 hours. You can see Brian's excellent image here.

The RGB data was a sum of five ten minute images for a total of 0.83 hours.

What a difference a couple of hours makes.
