The first two images show one of two meteors caught during the night of Aug 12-13, 2010. Unfortunately, I saw many more meteors (20/hour) the night before but I did not bring a camera as it was not the predicted peak (arghhhhh!). The The next two images show the other. I was able to observe a flare from a satellite and a triple satellite pass as well. These are shown in the next images..
The camera was an Imaging Source DMK41BF02 controlled with AstroIIDC. A cheap CS lens was attached to the camera with the entire device supported on a camera tripod. I was shooting nearly directly overhead at the only dark spot in the sky. The plate solving at astrometry.net is a bit off as one goes to the right in the images.
