The top image is reprocessed with a Lucy-Richardson Deconvolution. I was inspired by Alan Chen's remarkable NGC4038 image. The middle image was a sum of twenty-two 5 minute exposures with a Tak Epsilon-210 on an NJP mount.. The image was collected and processed in iCCD with an SXV-H9C. An SBIG STV was used to guiding the NJP mount. The camera suffered from a giant dust-bunny on it. T-shirt flats where used to remove the dust donut. Unfortunately, being the first one that i ever did, I didn't grab enough flats. The bottom image is a strech of the region around the galaxy showing the tails. |
