The eclipse was still spectactular in Indianapolis IN at the Indiana State Museum. The clouds did play havoc with the visibile light image collected with a Vespera Passenger with a solar filter on it. The image is slowed down near totality to better show the Baily's beads structure. The Passenger was for the most part operating unattendend during the eclipse. I refocussed a few times to try to deal with the clouds. I pulled the solar filter during totality. It did take some time to recover at the start of the second half of the eclipse. Eclipses are best vieweds in totality. You should get to one to see it. |
